Corporate Services - Business Health Care Services

Pre-Placement and Executive Physicals help determine whether applicants/employees are medically and physically able to perform their roles. A physician will carefully review a patient’s medical and occupational history before proceeding with the physical examination. Regulatory and Compliance Examinations help establish a medical baseline for employees in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency (Department of Transportation, Merchant Marine, etc.), and to perform periodic medical monitoring when indicated.

A thorough medical examination will include at least the following:

  • Complete occupational/medical history
  • Musculoskeletal examination
  • Evaluation of the respiratory system
  • Gastrointestinal examination
  • Examination of head, eyes, ears, nose, and throat
  • Skin examination
  • Neurological evaluation
  • Evaluation of the cardiovascular system
  • Visual acuity and vital signs, including blood pressure, urine dip test, and more

Drug Testing is a key component of many companies’ risk control program. Our certified staff is able to handle your company’s needs using our lab partner or yours. Additionally, positive results can be either directly to the client or to a Medical Review Officer (MRO) for the client. We also offer blood alcohol testing for post-accident events if required by your company.

Primary injury for treating non-emergency injuries such as cuts and bruises, injury from falls or lifting, and sprains of fingers, ankles, and other joints. Our BWC approved staff focus on best practices to access injuries, treat injuries and return patients to normal functioning. We use a combination of treatment approaches including office treatments, x-ray, physical therapy, and specialist care as warranted.

Employee Flu Immunizations Your employees can receive flu shots through company-sponsored onsite clinics administered by members of our staff or by walk-in appointments at Ridge Park Urgent Care. The flu vaccine is safe, and with reasonable precautions, is considered the primary method for preventing flu-related respiratory illness, physician visits related to flu, hospitalization, and even death. The Account Representative can provide information on scheduling procedures and pricing.

Travel Clinic For those planning to travel abroad, Ridge Park Urgent Care’s Travel Health program offers required vaccinations, health and safety information, and other helpful resources. These services are available to individuals who are not associated with a company as well as groups of employees who need to travel for business.
